new beginnings...

I have been telling Hubby for awhile that I wanted to start a blog, but I didn't know what I would blog about. I really love to craft, but feel like I don't get enough time to. However, today I had a rare opportunity to play with my Cricut, and that's when I got the idea to blog about crafting, home projects, gardening, and I guess anything that I really want to. My posts may be infrequent at first due to my crazy schedule with student teaching, but, when I am done in December, I hope to blog more regularly.

Now, about today's craft. I am working on a family calendar. So, I used my Cricut to cut out the months names. I am going to be using the cut-out pieces for the calendar, and the actual letters will be used in a later gift (which I will post after Christmas...wink wink).

So, I need to still laminate the months, laminate the white paper and put the calendar grid on it, and buy a 12"x12" frame. I will then use a dry erase marker to write on the glass of the frame each month. And there you have it- a dry-erase calendar.

Finished pictures will come as soon as it is done.
