A Fall/Wintery Sneak Peak!

This post contains affiliate links that help me continue this blog. Thanks for your support!
So, this time last week, it was my birthday, and most of the East Coast was recovering from Hurricane Sandy. This week, our area and East of us, was hit with a nor'easter. Mother Nature must be annoyed at us for something!

With Thanksgiving being exactly 2 weeks away, I am starting to feel the stress of having enough time to finish making everyone's Christmas gifts. As with last year, I will be making most of them, because a) I enjoy giving away and getting homemade gifts and b) I don't like the idea of spending a ton of money on gifts that people won't remember who or where it came from within a years time. I am also trying go back to a simpler way of life, and give out practical gifts instead of nonsensical ones. That being said, I have started making them, and have a pretty good idea of what I am going to be giving most of the people on my list. That, for me, is half the battle. I have one completed, another 1/2 way completed, and about an 1/8 complete on a third.

I have also been crafting and DIYing away on some other gifts and custom orders for friends! Here is a sneak peak, with a detailed post about each one of the non-Christmas gift items. But, I don't want to give away which ones are which yet!

On a side note- in the last 2 days, I have at least 5 people tell/ask me to make them some knit items, and have asked about selling them. I absolutely will be selling some scarfs, jellies and other handmade items- for now, visit my Etsy Shop!
