Time Keeps Slipping Away

Time sure does have a way of slipping away- and very quickly. It's amazing to me that when things aren't so going so well, or not the way you want them to- time moves so slowly. But, when things are going awesomely (is that a word?)- time has a way of going do fast. Is that part of God's design? Then, in retrospect, the time that went slowly doesn't really seem to have been that slow. This is going to be a sappy post- you are forewarned.

This time 4 years ago, I had just finished saying "I do" to my best friend, and my better half. I can't believe that we have been together for 11 years, married for 4 of them. Time has gone so fast. I am amazed at how much my love for him continues to grow daily. I didn't think it was possible to love someone as much I love him. He is a wonderful man- loving, supportive, caring, and above all- Godly. When I sit back and reflect on our history together- God was definitely watching and guiding us. We started out as friends, which blossomed into a different kind of love. He was with us through our time "apart" (Hubby was in college, I was in high school). He continued to watch and guide us through our college years. Then, when Hubby graduated from college, he provided a job that was local so we didn't have to go through a long-distance period. Soon after, Hubby proposed, I said "yes" and that began our 1.5 year engagement while I finished college. We got married 13 days after my graduation, and have never looked back!

Happy Anniversary to the man of my dreams- I love you!
