Rain, Rain, Go Away

It has been the rainiest June in recorded history here is in the Philly suburbs. Where are the days of all day sunshine and being outside? Every summer, people make lists of things they want to do- especially people that are off for a majority of the summer. I made one of those lists for my 3 weeks off before starting my new job- most of which involve being outside. But, with all of the rain, I haven't been able to do most of them. Maybe someone (the BIG Guy upstairs) is telling me to slow down!

My list:
1. Replace decking on front porch
2. Move dirt from front veggie bed to side flower bed
3. Create border in new, lower front bed to plant flowers
4. Wash and wax car
5. Clean inside of car
6. Run/walk everyday (have done on most days when not raining)
7. Walk dogs around town on coupler, everyday
8. Go on picnic
9. Eat outside
10. Paint shutters
11. Organize shed
12. Pull weeds
13. Go to Kutztown Folk Festival
14. Go to beach
15. Go hiking

As you can see, not very many things on my list have gotten done. But, God must know/think we need the rain, so it keeps coming. I bet it will stop raining when I start working and don't have free days anymore. I have to say with all the rain, I have gotten a lot of knitting done and enjoyed relaxing with the pups.
